“Singer’s Notes” is about me, Teri Singer, using my “notations” to share my family’s story and my heart.

One would suspect that with a name like Teri Singer, this blog might be about singing.  Sorry to disappoint if you are looking for such a thing.  Truth be told, I cannot sing well.  However, I have been told that I have a way with words.  “Singer’s Notes” is about me, Teri Singer, using my “notations” to share my family’s story and my heart.

Everyone has a story to tell.  Yes, even you!!  It just so happens that our family’s story is crazier than most.  You just cannot make this kind of stuff up.  “Singer’s Notes” is my attempt to share our family’s story.  It will include things like climbing the corporate ladder, being a corporate wife, living the dream, and falling from favor.  Adoption, attachment, bonding, and Russia will certainly be included.  Teaching, early childhood education, and curriculum for four year olds may be topics for discussion.  Brain cancer, suffering, death, and grief will most likely surface on occasion.

I hope that my writing tickles your funny bone, and it makes you weep.  I hope that it causes you to ask yourself important questions and stir up your ire.  But most importantly, I hope that it demonstrates the possibility that you can survive anything and come out on the other side proclaiming that, “God is good, all the time.”
